We currently have some positions that would suit you if you recently finished full-time education, if you have existing engineering skills or are looking for an interesting change in career.
As a trainee you will be involved in traffic studies, design and construction of road safety schemes and highway maintenance. You will gain a broad experience and understanding of highway and traffic engineering. An opportunity will be provided to gain relevant qualifications on a day release basis and may eventually lead to a degree in Civil engineering.
You will need 5 GCSEs at grade A-C including Mathematics and English Language; an aptitude in technical drawing, science or ICT; willingness to learn; and good written and verbal communication skills.
