Are you interested in promoting and developing a range of rehabilitation services for people with sensory impairment in Tower Hamlets?

This is a newly created post that offers the opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to be involved in everything from providing training to other professionals, holding a small complex caseload, managing staff and ensuring that the individual rehabilitation needs of adults who have sensory loss are addressed.

We are looking for a qualified rehabilitation officer for the visually impaired with a Diploma in Rehabilitation Studies or equivalent and relevant post-qualifying experience that includes work with people with dual sensory and hearing loss. You will need to be an excellent communicator and have experience of providing training and information sessions. You will also have experience of supervising staff and a good working knowledge of current national developments and best practice in relation to the client group.
