This post offers an exciting and challenging opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to promote healthy lifestyles in the workplace.
You must hold a Level 3 exercise qualification or equivalent and have a genuine interest in healthy eating.
The post holder will be expected to:
Set up, develop and deliver health promotion sessions, talks and presentations to individuals and small groups in the workplace.
Assess an individual’s appropriateness for lifestyle change and support individuals to make healthier lifestyle choices and have better access to community activities.
Measure blood pressure, height, weight and body fat and provide structured advice tailored towards individual needs.
Encourage individuals, on a one to one and group basis, to modify their lifestyle to become more physically active.
Work unsupervised and collaboratively, as part of a team, ensuring the highest standards of delivery.
Monitor and evaluate your work.
