Our civil parking enforcement section is responsible for managing the Council’s responsibilities under the Traffic Management Act 2004.
We currently have vacancies for civil parking enforcement officers working 36 hours per week, carrying out civil parking enforcement on the public highway and within Council operated Car Parks.
Successful applicants will undergo the necessary training to achieve NVQ level 2 accreditation, in civil parking enforcement.
Previous civil parking experience is desirable but not essential.
Candidates must hold a full valid UK driving licence and be willing to work various shift patterns across all days of the week including public/bank holidays. Patrols will be either on foot, in a car, on a scooter or using a CCTV vehicle.
