Energy Manager
Up to £41,079 p.a. inc.

The council has an energy spend of approx £5m per year
and a portfolio of around 300,000 m2.We are now
looking to develop a strategic approach to energy
management to reduce CO2 emissions and cost in
accordance with our sustainability agenda and central
government requirements. The position will require a
proactive approach working with all council asset
building managers and schools and acting as the
council’s energy champion and leading in developing
policies and standards.

This is a key role and will require
an individual with strong technical and communication skills.

Applicants will be qualified to a minimum of HND
level or equivalent in environmental management,
environmental science, engineering or building
discipline or have proven and extensive experience of
the same.
