An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead a corporate team working on the maintenance, refurbishment and construction work for the council’s corporate building stock of over 100 buildings. The post holder will also lead on health and safety requirements and provide intelligent client support. The council has a centralised maintenance plan and the post will be responsible for managing the programme of £1m pa and supporting the facilities management of 25,000m2 of offices. The council has a corporate approach to asset management and you will be required to provide strategic input into property strategies that support the council’s corporate targets.
Applicants will need to hold an appropriate qualification e.g. RICS, RIBA, MIOB and have significant and proven relevant post qualification experience.
