The Health Protection Agency (HPA) is an independent body that protects the health and well-being of nation. The Agency plays a critical role in protecting people from infectious diseases and in preventing harm when hazards involving chemicals, poisons or radiation occur. You will facilitate delivery of HCAI surveillance at CDSC (NI), under the direction of the Consultant Microbiologist and Epidemiological Scientist, through data collection, input, validation and analysis. You will also contribute to other surveillance and information systems in the Unit. Teamwork is essential.
You should have a good standard of general education (at least A level/NVQ level 3 in Administration or equivalent) or relevant data handling experience. You will also need experience of using Microsoft Office.
Closing date: 5:00pm, 20th January 2009.
Interview date: 10th February 2009.
