This post was created to assist the Children’s Services Directorate in its move to an Integrated Children’s System (ICS). This system is seen as a key enabler within the Every Child Matters: Change for Children Agenda. As the successful post holder you will have a key role to play in the ICS Project within the Directorate; working on developing and maintaining Anite’s ICS solution. You will work closely with training and performance colleagues to support system users and help ensure data quality. You should have experience / knowledge of database structures and the ability to use specialist interrogation and reporting tools. You should be able to work to tight timescales and be both methodical and creative in resolving problems.
The post will initially be until the 31st March 2009 but there may be opportunity to extend this subject to funding.
