Following the success of our Prison Placement Volunteers’ Programme we are now expanding it and an exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to run the programme in the south of England. This role provides scope to make a real difference not only for the Charity but for the volunteers.
Duties will include identifying volunteering opportunities, matching volunteers to project, promoting the project and developing systems and processes to evaluate the success of the programme for the Charity and our funding partners.
To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter and be able to demonstrate your ability to develop relationships, with individuals both within and outside of the Charity. Ideally you will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, have good administration skills and the ability to organise and juggle a variety of tasks simultaneously
A strong understanding of Open Prisons and the process involved in ROTL would be an advantage.
