Role:
As part of a supportive team, the role of Principle Procurement Manager, Clinical Category fulfils two key functions.
Firstly, you will be responsible for the procurement of a range of goods and services and ensure that all purchases, contracts, commercial ventures, etc undertaken on behalf of the Trust are professionally managed, delivered to a high standard, and provide real value for money. You will also work with the Supply and Distribution team in ensuring that there is proper co-ordination in dealings with supplier related issues.
Secondly, you will work in a pro-active and strategic manner as a Business Partner along the nominated budget managers in the Trust. In this capacity, you will plan the purchasing and contracts management activity, and provide professional advice, analysis and support to stakeholders across the organisation.
Skills:
To be considered for this role, you will be CIPS qualified, or studying towards qualification.
The role will involve project planning, supplier management, preparation of business cases and management information reports, all of which means that you will need to demonstrate strong organisational skills and a natural ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
