Lewisham Youth Offending Service and Children’s Social Care are looking for a qualified social worker to provide a service to children and young people remanded to local authority accommodation, custody or secure accommodation. You will contribute to the reduction of offending by looked after children and children in need. You will also be a central part of the YOS remand management service, representing the team in a variety of courts. You must have extensive experience of working with young people at risk or involved in offending, and have a good understanding of the youth justice system. Some evening and Saturday working will be required.

You should be a qualified social worker having obtained the Diploma in Social Work and be registered with the General Social Care Council (GSCC).
