A diverse borough to work in, Newham is full of contrasts, offering both opportunities and challenges. As the lynchpin of Britain’s Olympic bid, we are due to reap significant benefits for local people. Newham Extended Services is an innovative, integrated service area and includes area-based services (children’s centres and extended services in schools), play services and parent support. We work alongside a wide range of statutory, voluntary and private partners to enable the provision of increasingly integrated and accessible services that aim to meet the needs and choices of local children, young people and their families.
