We are looking for a full time qualified social worker to join our
Health and Disability Team which is a busy, highly motivated and experienced team. We provide services to people aged 18-65 years with physical disabilities, terminal and long term illnesses and their carers. We are a friendly team based in central Kingston and we cover the whole Borough. The team comprises of qualified social workers, qualified occupational therapists and a district nurse/care manager.

This is an exciting time to join us in developing, promoting and delivering personalised budgets and helping us in the transformation of social care ahead. We would consider a newly qualified worker if you have a working knowledge of disability.

You must

• Hold a DipSW, CQSW (or equivalent) qualification
• Possess excellent assessment and commissioning skills
• Be able to effectively monitor service provision and review outcomes
• Be committed to promoting and delivering re-enablement services and personalised budgets.
• Have a commitment to anti-discriminatory practice and equality standards
• Be able to effectively monitor service provision and review outcomes
• Be able to work flexibly
• Be motivated, positive and committed
