Job summary

This team provide the Disclosure side of the business with targeted, risk based, and random sample matching decisions and investigation where the DBS matching process has failed to identify a match.

Job description

  • Carry out a range of quality assurance checks relating to the PNC matching process to ensure accuracy of conviction data on the Disclosure certificate. Use all evidence available, identifying errors and making well-judged decisions on all checks. Where PNC matching errors are found, investigate the cause of the error and record accurately on databases.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely in sharing information and best practice with colleagues and Managers.
  • Take responsibility and ownership of tasks, using time management skills to ensure priorities are delivered within SLA’s.
  • Be change responsive and flexible in your approach to competing priorities and tasks.
  • Develop good working relations within own Team, and with other teams across DBS, providing guidance and support to stakeholders on request
  • Participate in ad hoc projects when needed to develop new processes, enhance business performance and improve customer service.
  • Training will be on site at Shannon court initially, hybrid/remote working will be considered once training is complete.

Person specification

Essential

Knowledge/Experience of working within a Quality Assurance area and processing various QA activities to a high standard

Be able to demonstrate a work knowledge of CRM

Desirable

Excellent communication skills.

Must be able to work as part of a team.

Must be able to manage team workflow across a variety of QA checks.

Previous PNC matching knowledge experience would be desirable although not essential.
