The full time equivalent salary of £32,578 to £35,570 includes an amount for a market supplement ranging from £3,036 to £3,524 per year. This market supplement is reviewed annually.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to the role of Access to accommodation. This role will bring you to the heart of our organisation working directly with our Resettlement and Housing Options team. Everyone who works here has the same thing in common, to see Torbay and its residents thrive.

You will need to be organised, have excellent written and verbal communication skills have an insight into how a local authority operates and provide an immense sense of job satisfaction at the end of each day. You won’t be alone, you’ll be part of our Housing Options Team.

Skills

Essential:
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload.
As this post meets the requirements of the Immigration Act 2016 (part 7), the ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.

Knowledge

Essential:
  • Landlord and tenant legislation.


Experience & Qualifications

Essential:
  • Managing challenging situations.
  • Educated to GCSE O Level standard or equivalent.
