Are you ready to kick-start your career in local government finance? As an Accounting Technician, you will play a vital role in managing the finances of our Adult Social Care department. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals eager to learn about local government finance. Whether you are starting your studies or have begun your accounting qualification with AAT or a suitable degree, we want to hear from you!
In this dynamic role, you will:
- Assist in managing financial records and transactions.
- Support the team in budgeting and financial reporting.
- Help ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide excellent service to our community.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- AAT qualification or equivalent, or a relevant degree.
- Experience in a financial environment, preferably in the public sector.
- Familiarity with financial systems and processes.
