Persona: Agile/hybrid working - office based 20% - 20% (3/4 days working from home)

Join our Finance Team at L&Q PRS Co Limited:

  • L&Q PRS Co Limited is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our growing team. As a Build to rent landlord, all the homes we market are owned and managed by L&Q PRS Co Limited.
  • L&Q PRS Co Limited currently has a Market Rent (PRS) portfolio of over 3000 homes with ambitions to have over 5,000 new build homes in the next 3 years; expanding greatly to become one of the largest rental portfolios in the capital. L&Q PRS Co Limited is part of the L&Q Group.
  • Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this is new and exciting role in our growing Finance team.

Your impact in the role:

With an eye on detail and highly organised you will ensure financial transactions are kept up to date and able to provide timely and accurate information. You will be numerate, self-motivated, and able to work to deadlines. Key responsibilities include:

  • Daily invoice inputs and matching to purchase orders.
  • Liaising with suppliers on invoice queries and following up discrepancies.
  • Maintaining the supplier ledger and preparing regular payment runs.
  • Daily bank reconciliations.
  • Setting the monthly rental charge and following up credit control with property managers.
  • Ensuring ad-hoc payments are accurately processed.
  • Reconciling the deposit account with TDS.
  • Coding and checking void expenses.
  • General finance administration.
  • Preparing employee expenses and credit card expenditure.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant is essential as is being able to multi-task and manage your time effectively. You can easily show your excellent communication skills both written and verbal and are happy to be part of team.
  • You should be proficient with MS Office and experience of Yardi is desirable.
