We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Admin Assistant to join our team. This is a temporary, full-time role from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027 with a view to a permanent role from September 2027.
This is a varied role which involves working with children and parents/carers from across school, supporting the admin officer and senior leadership team.
The successful candidate must: -
- have a good level of competency within ICT
- have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- have knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet Explorer
- have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- be highly motivated and committed to working as part of a team
- have the ability to act on their own initiative
- be committed to the vision and values of our school
- have a child-centred approach to their work
- have excellent verbal and written communication skill at all levels (with children, staff and parents/carers)
- have a good sense of humour and a hardworking ethos
- be able to present as a positive role model
- demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding children and maintaining confidentiality at all times
- be able to work independently but also as part of a team
