he Governors of Stanley School are looking to appoint a proactive, motivated and organised individual to join our existing Administration and Finance team for 3 days a week.
Stanley School is a vibrant and welcoming special school with 185 pupils. As part of our office team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our school’s administration and finance functions. Acting as the first point of contact for staff, parents, and visitors, you will help to create a welcoming and efficient office environment while supporting senior leaders and governors with a range of business tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
Day-to-day financial administration, budget monitoring, payroll support, purchase ordering, and invoicing
Income management and preparation of financial reports
Office management and reception duties
Maintaining accurate records using SIMS or equivalent systems
Liaising with suppliers and supporting the senior leadership team
Ensuring compliance with GDPR and safeguarding requirements
What we’re looking for:
Relevant administrative or finance qualification (Level 3 or above)
Experience in a similar role, ideally within a school setting
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication
A proactive, motivated, and friendly approach
