Greenleas Primary and Nursery School is currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to work with our Business Manager in the busy school office of our friendly and welcoming school.

This is a permanent post for 5 days per week (term time) starting as soon as possible. The hours will be 8:00am - 3:45pm (3:30pm Friday), with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

Office experience is essential along with strong numeracy, literacy and ICT skills. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and organisational skills alongside the ability to deal with diverse tasks and changing priorities. The ability to work to deadlines and confidentiality are essential.

Main duties will include:
Being the first point of contact in our school office.
Maintaining a welcoming and informative reception for parents, children and visitors while ensuring school security arrangements are always complied with.
The administration of pupil admissions.
Maintaining the school information management system (Arbor).
Verbal and written communication with parents.
Monitoring and analysing pupil attendance and assisting with finance through ParentPay.
Training will be provided if required.
