As our school and administrative team continues to expand, we are looking for a dedicated Administration Assistant to join us at Grove Street Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive, growth-oriented school community that values and champions its staff.

Grove Street Primary is a Centre of Excellence for Inclusion, a Therapeutic School, a Centre of Excellence for Oracy (Voice 21), and a School of Sanctuary. We are fully committed to ensuring every child has a champion, meeting their emotional, social, and academic needs with the utmost care and support. Our inclusive approach means all children are valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.
As a local Family Hub, we support children from birth, with Early Years Provision starting at age 2. We are a 2-form entry in mainstream classes, along with LA resourced provision bases for children with ASC/social communication needs, nurture and further bases opening in September2025.


The role will primarily involve general administration tasks, processing invoices, reception cover, updating and maintaining school records on Arbor using related online systems. Act as the first point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors. Handle phone calls, emails, and face-to-face inquiries in a professional, welcoming manner.

Excellent communication and IT skills

A warm, approachable personality with a good sense of humour and strong teamwork skills

Ability to remain calm under pressure

Strong interpersonal skills, both with children and adults
