
Administration Officer
The post holder will be a valued team member providing administrative and secretarial support for the Birmingham Safeguarding Children Partnership, its Executive Group and Learning and Development, Serious Cases, and Quality, Impact and Outcomes Sub-Groups. About you!
• You must have previous administrative experience including coordinating meetings and events; preparing agendas and taking minutes; prioritising workload and meeting deadlines.
• You will need to be able to take responsibility for ensuring all actions are completed quickly, seeking assurance and chasing partners when necessary.
• You must have excellent verbal, written and IT communication skills.
• You will be dealing with confidential information and must be able to maintain accurate records.
• A touch typing/Word Processing qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential, as is experience of using MS Excel.
• Training and development will also be provided as necessary.
This is a hybrid working role, meaning some of your time will be spent working in the office and some working from home. The Business Support Team is hosted by the Birmingham Children's Trust, whose offices are in Aston, just outside the city centre traffic congestion zone where free parking is available.
You are required to provide additional information that evidences your skills and abilities against each of the criteria set out in the person specification.
