We are recruiting an Administrative Assistant at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Youth Offending Service.
We pay an attractive salary of £25,584 - £27,269 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
An opportunity has arisen in the Blaenau Gwent and Caerphilly Youth Offending Service (YOS) for an Administrative Assistant in the Business Support Team, working alongside Clerical Assistants and supported by the Information and Performance Manager. The post will be based at our offices at Woodfieldside Business Park, Pontllanfraith.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to support the YOS. The successful applicant will be a team player and be able to support the service and their fellow colleagues by providing a high level of administrative support.
You will be required to organise, coordinate and minute meetings to a high standard. The YOS has many partnership meetings which aims to support children and families to prevent offending and reoffending. Some meetings are held externally in other locations so the successful applicant must be able to travel to different locations across both authorities to support the service.

For the role, we ask that you have:
- 5 GCSEs Grade A*-C or equivalent Level 2 qualifications on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales or a relevant Level 2 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example NVQ2 Administration
- Working knowledge of a comprehensive database
- General office, administrative experience
