We are looking for a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our Deputyship Team on a permanent basis, working part-time 18.5 hours per week.

About you...

As an Administrative Assistant you will be a highly organised, motivated individual with a desire to support vulnerable residents and uphold the council’s statutory duties. The role requires you to have excellent administrative, IT and communication skills, preferably with a care, legal or financial background relevant to the role.

The role will be partly office based, located in Time Square, Bracknell. However, the role can be flexible in hours and hybrid working, dependent upon the needs of the service.

About the team...

Bracknell Forest Council's Deputyship Team offer financial support and representation to residents who are unable to manage their finances themselves and have no one willing or able to do so.

The Administrative Assistant will directly support officers in their day-to-day service delivery and ensure Bracknell upholds its legal duties and responsibilities to residents.

Key responsibilities...

  • Provide day to day operational support to Bracknell Forest Council’s Deputyship Team
  • Manage and maintain our systems and database containing client information
  • Support Deputyship Officers in managing the financial and personal affairs of Bracknell residents
  • Assisting in relevant service delivery, including generating Court of Protection applications, correspondence with the Department for Work and Pensions, or liaising with other Bracknell Forest Council departments and/or external stakeholders.
