We have a great opportunity for a Administrative Assistant on a part time, permanent basis. This is an office based role working 30 hours per week at Waymead Short Term Care, Bracknell.

The Waymead office is located within the service where vulnerable adults access respite. It is therefore essential that you have experience and confidence in working alongside people with learning disabilities and autism.
As an Administrative Assistant you will provide comprehensive support to the team, including minute-taking for key meetings, taking telephone calls, managing correspondence, maintaining records, handling finances, and supporting internal systems such as LAS and SharePoint.

We are a small team who works closely together to make sure we are providing the best support to the individuals who use our service. Our staff team spend time getting to know everyone they work with and changes lives for the better.
Sometimes the work is challenging, however, we are supportive team and work together to find creative solutions. You will find that here at Waymead every day is different.
The team will provide service specific training such as fire safety and first aid. You will have access to excellent training opportunities to develop your professional skills and interests.
Key responsibilities...
- To support the management team at Waymead Short Term Care and Bracknell Day Service.
- Managing shared inboxes and responding to enquiries from staff, providers, guests, families, and partner agencies.
- Maintaining accurate records, case files, and databases (e.g., LAS, care management systems).
- Updating spreadsheets, logs, and trackers for referrals, safeguarding alerts, provider issues, and performance metrics.
- Preparing and distributing agendas, minutes, and action logs.
- Logging and tracking compliments and complaints.
- Handling telephone calls and email enquiries from the guests, families, external agencies, and professionals in a clear and compassionate way.
- Supporting with internal audits and inspections by gathering evidence and preparing reports.
- To perform any other duties/tasks as may be necessary and compatible with the nature of the post.
