This is a key supporting role, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of our planned works programmes across the borough. You will provide comprehensive administrative support, maintain accurate compliance records, coordinate inspections and act as a point of contact for tenants, contractors and colleagues.

As part of our Planned Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for collecting, recording and maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date compliance information, inspection records and certifications using electronic systems, along with:

Helping organise access to council properties for inspections and testing, liaising with tenants and contractors
Preparing reports and compiling performance information using spreadsheets, databases
Assisting with monthly budget returns and routine financial administration
Act as a point of contact for contractors, surveyors and internal teams, dealing with scheduling, enquiries, complaints and updates
Responding to tenant enquiries relating to planned maintenance programmes.
Preparing and issuing communications to tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders about upcoming works and activities

It is essential that you have strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, along with having:

Excellent attention to detail, with confidence in record‑keeping and data accuracy
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
