Job summary

This position is located within The Army Training Centre Pirbright (ATC (P)). It is a role that offers challenges and high engagement with all staff across the establishment. Job description
Army Training Centre Pirbright (ATC (P)), a dynamic and fast-paced military training environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the operational effectiveness of the unit by being responsible to Commanding Officer support regiment for the delivery of effective and secure service provision of all ATC (P) Information Management / Information Exploitation / Information Assurance (IM/IX/IA) capabilities, ensuring strict compliance with regulations as per MOD and Army Top Level Budget (TLB) rules and guidance. Additionally they are responsible for the delivery of effective and secure service provision of all ATC (P) CIS (Computer Information Systems) training networks and associated ICT infrastructure / hardware.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development, governance and current relevance of the ATC (P) IM and CIS Plan, IM & CIS policies and IX initiatives; managing any resultant change programs throughout ATC(P).
- DPA (Data Protection Act) lead for ATC (P) and it's lodger units ensuring all SAR's (Subject Access Requests) are completed according to time frames stipulated.
- Regular liaison with the Data Protection team on the unit statistics and management of the AIAR (Army Information Asset Register).
- Primary focal point for all Defence Broadband Infrastructure (DBI) requirements at Pirbright Station.
- Responsible for the maintenance and management of accurate MODNet / Telephony /Removeable Media and Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs) asset management registers.
- Manage the development and deployment of all MS 365 Groups, SharePoint Online Services (SPOL) and Electronic Document Records Management Systems (EDRMS) in-use across the College, ensuring IM / IA compliance by all staff.
- ATC(P) lead for MODNet, including Printer hardware and associated peripherals.
- Deliver the creation of ATC(P) IM / IX / CIS and MODNet business cases to support this where required.
- Provide support and guidance to the ATC(P) Command Team on all IM / IX / IA / CIS matters.
- Provide IM / IX / CIS support and advice to DCSp staff and students, ensuring training is functional, relevant and available where necessary.
- Support business relations between MOD, ATC(P), Headquarters Soldier Academy, JMC SE (Joint Military Command South East) and any third-party suppliers to enable the effective delivery of CIS and ICT services across ATC(P). Ensure all contractors carry out processes in accordance with ITIL, MOD and industry standards.
- Carry out duties commensurate with the appointment and MOD Civil Service grade required by Line Manager or Chain of Command.

- O365 iHub & user Training (Army HQ)
- SharePoint Online Training (Army HQ)
- DPA Workshop
