Nelson Primary School successful primary school in Newham with an ambitious curriculum, inclusive teaching and children who have positive attitudes to learning.

We are seeking to appoint a enthusiastic Attendance Officer to join our team as soon as possible. We are looking for a dedicated indicidual with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

The Attendance officer will be responsible for ensuring pupils are attending regularly, conducting home visits, as well as providing support to ensure their welfare.

The successful candidate will be:

• Highly organised and able to manage their time effectively
• Positive, flexible and able to work effectively as part of a wider team
• Educated to at least GCSE level with 4 passes (A*- C or Level 9 - Level 4) including English and Maths, or equivalent relevant t experience.
• Previous experience as an Attendance Officer or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
