Best Start Inclusion Practitioner
Help shape brighter futures from the very start.
Do you believe every child deserves the best possible start in life? Are you passionate about inclusion, early intervention and helping families overcome barriers before challenges escalate?
We're looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Best Start Inclusion Practitioner to join our Family Hubs and play a key role in transforming support for children aged 0–5 with emerging or additional needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a developing service that sits at the heart of our Best Start for Life Family Hubs programme, helping children thrive through early identification, targeted support and inclusive practice.
About the role
As a Best Start Inclusion Practitioner, you'll work directly with children and families, helping them access the right support at the right time. You'll build trusted relationships with parents and carers, support children's development, and help families navigate SEND, health and early help pathways.
Every day will be different. One day you may be running an inclusive stay-and-play session, the next supporting a family in their home, working alongside health professionals, or helping colleagues develop confidence in recognising and responding to additional needs.
You'll be part of a passionate Family Hub team, working across community venues, outreach settings and neighbourhoods to ensure no child is left behind.
Why join us?

Join a supportive and ambitious service committed to early help, prevention and strengths-based practice.

We're looking for people who:

Understand child development and the importance of intervening early.
Are passionate about inclusion and creating opportunities for all children to thrive.
Can build strong relationships and inspire confidence in families.
Enjoy partnership working and finding practical solutions.
Bring energy, creativity and a commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.
