What will you be doing?

We are looking to recruit within our Financial Assessment and Income Unit. The position of Billing & Control Officer, within the Billing & Control team, is based in Broadstairs however, we undertake hybrid working, meaning that we work from home and the office, depending on business needs. The available position is for a temporary six month contract, full time, 37 hours per week.

Working within a team responsible for the invoicing of income due to the authority you will play a vital role in providing high quality advice and accurate information to both internal and external stakeholders and customers. As the first point of contact in relation to the receipt of an invoice you will be responsible for quickly building rapport with people we support whilst assisting with a wide range of in-depth queries in a professional, diplomatic and supportive manner. You will support the administration of IT systems, to provide technical support and advice.

You will be provided with a comprehensive training program so that you are able to deliver the requirements of this role. If you are flexible, adaptable, can work under pressure, hold all the necessary skills, experience, and knowledge, and are prepared to go the extra mile, then this is an excellent opportunity for you to work within a dynamic and developing environment.
