We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Building Safety Administrator to join our team. In this role, you’ll support Building Safety Managers and Project Managers to ensure Peabody buildings remain safe for residents and visitors. You’ll play a key part in maintaining compliance with emerging Building Safety legislation, managing building safety records, and supporting operational teams with accurate data and reporting. This is a pivotal role where your organisational skills and ability to work independently will help deliver a safe and compliant environment across our housing portfolio.

What you’ll do

As a Building Safety Administrator, you’ll maintain and update building safety records, ensuring information is accurate and accessible. You’ll support the procurement of consultants for fire risk assessments, validate reports, and monitor costs against budgets. You’ll liaise with development teams to ensure handover information is complete, keep digital records and safety cases up to date, and assist in developing dashboards to prioritise building safety actions. You’ll also respond to regulator enquiries, manage risk priority scores, and provide administrative support for training schemes and compliance reporting. You will be required to attend the office a minimum of 2 days per week for collaboration and meetings.

What you’ll need

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure.
  • Proven attention to detail and experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the Building Safety Act and its implications for housing compliance.
  • Ability to work independently, exercising good judgment and initiative.
