Job description

Putting your skills to use

As part of the engineering business analysis team, you’ll apply your diverse skill set to help bridge the gap between complex challenges and real-world solutions. In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to gather, analyse, and refine requirements for a variety of technical projects.
  • Translate concepts into clear, accessible documentation and insights that make sense to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Design and optimise business processes that enhance efficiency, reduce complexity, and support long-term growth.
  • Take part in agile ceremonies, ensuring alignment between evolving business needs and technical capabilities throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Produce insightful reports and visualisations that empower data-driven decisions across engineering and business teams.

Person specification

More about you

To apply for this role, you will already have:

  • Experience working as a business analyst or in a similar role such as systems analyst, data analyst, process analyst or project manager.
  • Analytical skills, including requirements validation, root cause analysis, use case development, and process modelling.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.

It would be beneficial if you also have one of the following (although these are not essential):

  • Experience in analysing and guiding strategic business change, translating organisational strategy into actionable insights with value realisation.
  • An understanding of engineering industry standards and best practices.
