We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Digital team. This is offered as a six month role initially, with the possibility of extension.
This role will drive process change and digital transformation across Adur & Worthing Council as we prepare for Local Government Reorganisation.
As a Business Analyst you will be a part of a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team working with services to identify opportunities for improvement across the processes and technologies they use.
We know we need to create more person-centred and digitally enabled services and as a Business Analyst you will do the detailed work, collaborating with service specialists to analyse process inefficiencies, undertake user research, create user journey maps and wireframes, determine technology options and help create agile change projects and programmes. You will need to project manage the work through to delivery.
You will be experienced in change and improvement work, and a range of business analysis tools and techniques. We value practical, can-do approaches, and the ability to cut through and make change happen quickly, by working positively and constructively with teams. You will also be willing and able to challenge assumptions, and drive radical change in the way things are done.
You will have a good grasp of technology options and be willing to embrace new learning and skills, as well as imparting this to others.
This is a hybrid role, and you will be expected to be based in Worthing Town Hall (or one of our other sites, as required) usually two days per week.
If this sounds like the role for you, we look forward to receiving your application!
At Adur & Worthing, we are committed to supporting care leavers, in accordance with the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000 and the Children and Social Work Act 2017. In order to be considered for this, you will need to be a care leaver under the age of 25 at the time of application. Please confirm that you are a care leaver in the "Showing how you meet the person specification and job description" section of the application form.
As a Disability Confident employer, we will ensure that a fair and proportionate number of applicants declaring a disability, that meet the essential criteria for this position, will be offered an interview.
