An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Business Services Team for a committed and flexible individual to provide efficient and effective administrative support to Derbyshire Adult Community Education (ACE) Service.

You will be joining a friendly team and the ability to work effectively as part of that team and meet deadlines is essential. The role is varied and post paced. You will be required to work across different locations and must be able to travel to meet service needs.

Post 1

Location: Swadlincote ACE

Hours: Part time 21 hours worked Monday to Wednesday

Post 2

Location: Cotmanhay & Ilkeston ACE

Hours: Part time 21 hours worked Monday to Wednesday

Post 3

Location: Glossop ACE

Hours: Part time 24.89 hours worked Monday to Thursday

  • Processing of financial information

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Excellent IT skills, which includes the use of Microsoft packages.
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
  • An ability to interpret information and analyse data.
  • An understanding of confidentiality, GDPR and Data Protection.
  • Previous financial experience would be beneficial.
  • NVQ Level 2 qualification or relevant office experience.
  • Enthusiasm and transferable skills

This role currently offers hybrid working options which will be to subject service needs, there'll be an opportunity to discuss working arrangements for this position at interview.
