Are you ready to make an impact? We are on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Assistant to join our dynamic team within the Legal Service. This role offers you the chance to contribute to a high-performing service and work in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep the Legal Service running smoothly with exceptional day-to-day administrative support.
  • Manage mailboxes and telephone calls efficiently, ensuring prompt responses.
  • Organise and collate information from a variety of sources with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Work seamlessly in a supportive team to achieve shared goals.
  • Oversee essential financial processes, contributing to the service's operational success.
  • Process evidence usually in the form of discs that may contain videos audio files or images which may require specialist software to view.
  • Embrace a hybrid working arrangement, with at least two days in the office.

About you:

You are an enthusiastic individual with a passion for excellence in service delivery. You're:

  • A proactive individual with strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
  • Driven to deliver high-quality outcomes while focusing on customers and children.
  • Organised and detail-focused, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable communicating across various levels and handling sensitive subject matter.
  • Resourceful, solving problems independently with confidence and minimal supervision.
  • Committed to working in a flexible, forward-thinking, and team-oriented environment.

Your administrative experience and customer service skills will shine in this role, where you'll demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and professionalism.

Onboarding Process: Please note as part of our onboarding process, the successful candidate will be required undergo a series of background checks with Experian Including Experian Right to Work, and Digital ID verification. These are essential pre-employment requirements.

This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham so you must reside within a suitable commutable distance around Birmingham and have the correct right-to-work documents to work in the UK. Sadly, we do not support those who require sponsorship.
