Work Location: County Hall, Leicester Road, Glenfield, Leicester, LE3 8RA
Salary: Grade 6, £25,995 – £26,409 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) (Pay award pending)
Working Hours: 37 Hours per week
Contract Type: Fixed term for three years

About the Role
We are looking for a highly dedicated Business Support Assistant. The primary focus of the role is to provide admin support to our staff in the Public Health, Communities, Law & Governance Department.
This is a busy role with lots of variety. The ideal candidate will be great at multi-tasking, able to prioritise their workload and enjoy working with people in a fast-paced environment.
The post holder will have a flexible approach to support the business needs of the Department. Key tasks will include support to staff, diary management, assisting with the organising of meetings and taking minutes, organising internal and external room bookings and general administration activities.
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
- Previous administrative experience at a similar level
- Use of ICT applications relevant to the post, i.e., Outlook, TEAMS, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
- Literacy/numeracy skills appropriate to the job.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise work.
- Able to operate effectively as a member of a team and with minimum supervision.
- Ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
