Provide effective co-ordination across the key Criminal Justice functions of Custody and Prosecutions.
As a Business Support Officer, you will deliver effective coordination of risk management, health and safety and business continuity activity. You will help to develop and implement improvement activity and national change by conducting research and undertaking analysis, review and evaluation.
What you’ll be doing
- Undertake a lead coordinating role in a nominated functional area, ensuring that delivery against the business plan is proactively monitored and managed.
- To take an active role in the creation and coordination of the departmental risk register, business continuity plans, action plans and business plans.
- Assist senior managers in the creation and management of policies, procedures, web sites and communications.
The must haves
- Effective coordination across functions, agencies and management levels.
- Problem solving skills including identifying problems, researching potential solutions, isolating the optimum solution and implementing it.
- Able to challenge the ‘norm’ and present ideas and arguments in a logical manner.
You will need to hold a full UK Driving Licence with access to own vehicle and be prepared to use this for business purposes or be able to source transportation to travel around the East Midlands on a regular basis.
