Kent Enablement at Home (KEaH) supports adults across Kent to regain independence, confidence and daily living skills following illness, hospital admission or changes in circumstances.
Our Business Support Officers (KSC) play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the service, providing essential administrative, care co‑ordination and operational support to frontline Enablement teams.
This is a varied and fast‑paced role, ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, managing competing priorities and supporting both professionals and people who use our services.
What you’ll be doing
As a Business Support Officer within KEaH, you will:
- Provide high‑quality administrative and business support to Enablement operational teams
- Support care co‑ordination activity, helping to ensure the timely and accurate allocation, tracking and updating of enablement visits
- Act as a key point of contact for professionals, partner agencies and people using our services
- Manage telephone enquiries, shared mailboxes and service correspondence
- Record, update and maintain accurate information across multiple IT systems
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and produce notes where required
- Assist with financial and monitoring processes, including audits and routine data checks, in line with established procedures
- Work closely with colleagues to support safe, effective and responsive service delivery
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is organised, reliable and has strong attention to detail
- Can manage a varied workload, work effectively under pressure and prioritise competing demands in a fast‑paced environment
- Communicates clearly and professionally with a wide range of people
- Is confident using IT systems, or willing to learn new digital tools
- Understands the importance of accuracy in care co‑ordination and record‑keeping
- Works well as part of a team and is flexible in response to service needs
Experience in business support, administration or a care‑related environment is desirable, but training and support will be provided.

Additional information
- This role is considered a customer‑facing position
- Kent Enablement at Home operates between 6am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday
- A variety of full‑time and part‑time shift patterns are available, and we will explore flexible options where possible to support different working needs, including core hours and out‑of‑hours working
- Office locations across the county available including - Worrall House, Sessions, Kroner, Gravesend Civic Centre & Sittingbourne (Avenue of Remembrance, Swale Local Office)
- Working hours, contractual basis and patterns of work will be discussed at interview, in line with service requirements
- Appointment is subject to the usual pre‑employment checks

Salary range
- £26,956 - £27,765 per year
