About the Role
Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for a role that offers interesting, varied work and the opportunity to develop your skills?
Join County Fleet Maintenance and you’ll work predominantly on the maintenance, servicing, inspection, diagnosis and repair of police vehicles, helping to ensure they are maintained to a high standard and safely returned to operational service.
While police vehicle maintenance will form the majority of your day-to-day workload, you’ll also have the opportunity to work across our wider and varied fleet, including cars, light commercial vehicles, passenger-carrying vehicles, trailers and small plant equipment.
This is an opportunity to use your technical skills in a varied workshop environment, with a particular focus on supporting essential frontline police vehicles where safety, reliability and vehicle availability are critical.
As part of our experienced workshop team, you’ll carry out a range of:
- Vehicle inspections and diagnostics
- Servicing and routine maintenance
- Mechanical repairs
- Fault finding and rectification
- Maintenance across a varied, multi-franchise fleet
In return, we offer good working conditions, excellent training opportunities and a competitive employment package, along with the opportunity to take part in our out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
If you’re looking for a permanent technician role where you can work on a varied fleet, build your experience and play an important part in keeping essential vehicles on the road, we’d love to hear from you.
