    The Governors of St Anne’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a hard-working, honest, dependable and self-motivated Caretaker, who will provide a vital role in maintaining our school site, to ensure we provide a welcoming and safe environment for the whole school community.

    The hours are 37 hours per week, all year round with 25 days annual leave, increasing to 28 days after 5 years local government service plus bank holidays. Annual leave must be taken during the school holidays.

    Main duties will include opening and securing buildings, cleaning, basic DIY and general day to day duties at the request of the Headteacher/ Business Manager within Health and Safety regulations.

    Applicants must have the ability to prioritise their work and have good communication skills. Applicants must also have the ability to work on their own initiative and also in a team environment.

    You will be expected to complete basic paperwork eg stock control forms, Health and Safety inspection sheets, work request forms.

    Experience in a relevant trade is desirable. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake relevant training.
