The Governing Body of Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Allta Primary School is seeking to appoint a Caretaker to work as part of a friendly, hard-working team.
Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Allta is a Welsh medium primary school situated in the small town of Ystrad Mynach on the outskirts of Caerphilly Town. The school is a happy, friendly community school and the school caretaker is very much a part of the staff and central to the school.
The ability to converse and correspond through the medium of Welsh is not essential.
We are looking for a caretaker who is committed to the provision of maintenance and security on our school site. We require someone who is able to build strong professional relationships with staff and children and is dedicated to ensuring that our school is a clean and orderly working environment. The successful candidate will have health and safety responsibilities including maintaining the school building and grounds in a safe condition and working in a safe manner. As part of these duties there will be a requirement to carry out and record essential periodic health and safety checks and undertake maintenance / DIY as required.
