We are recruiting a Caretaker at Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Y Castell to commence as soon as possible pending pre-employment checks.
Working hours: 25 hours per week, 5 hours a day, 13:00 - 18:00

We pay an attractive salary of £17,016.18 per annum Grade 3 (FTE £25,185) and offer access to training and development opportunities.
The Governing Body of Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Y Castell are looking to appoint a caretaker for our large primary school premises. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the head teacher and site manager to carry out a range of duties as outlined in job description to ensure safety, security, maintenance and cleanliness of the site and premises.
The successful candidate will: ·
- be an experienced cleaner / caretaker or experienced within building maintenance · have a range of practical maintenance skills
- have good verbal communication skills when dealing with both children and adults · possess a firm understanding of health and safety procedures / issues
The successful candidate’s working hours will be 25 hours per week, working hours 13:00 – 18:00 each day, The school may require changes to these hours in order to answer the needs of the school. Holidays: to be taken outside term-time.
