Join Our Maintenance Team

Our South London in-house maintenance team is looking for an experienced Multi-Trade Carpenter to join the team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy and well-established team, carrying out a wide range of repairs and maintenance work across our housing stock in and around Lambeth and Southwark.

Your Impact in the Role

As a Multi-Trade Carpenter, you will:

• Carry out a broad range of carpentry and maintenance repairs across occupied properties
• Complete internal and external door fitting and repairs.
• Undertake splice repairs, general locksmith work, and lock repairs and replacements.
• Repair and replace bathroom subfloors, bath panels, and associated frameworks.
• Carry out kitchen repairs and refits.
• Complete a variety of general maintenance and multi-trade repairs.
• Ideally undertake internal and external window repairs, including single and double glazing repairs if this is within your skill set.
• Provide excellent customer service as a key point of contact for residents.
• Work safely and in line with Health and Safety standards at all times.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with opportunities to earn additional income through call-out and out-of-hours work.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who has:

• Strong carpentry trade knowledge and practical experience.
• Experience working within a housing maintenance, building maintenance, or construction environment.
• An NVQ qualification or equivalent trade experience (preferred).
• The ability to deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships with residents.
• A proactive, right first-time approach to repairs and maintenance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A good understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
• A full UK manual driving licence.
