Deliver high‑quality case files that support effective justice.
As our Case Progression Officer, you’ll prepare and develop high-quality case files for submission the Crown Prosecution Service and HM Courts & Tribunal Service, for success at CPS triage. In this vital role, you’ll ensure databases are accurately updated and that case files are completed efficiently, meeting deadlines and complying with all relevant legislation and policies.
As a subject matter expert in case file preparation, you’ll also manage a wide range enquiries from internal colleagues and external agencies.
You’ll be
- Gathering and processing information accurately and to a high standard in a timely manner.
- Acting as a point of contact between outside agencies and police investigators regarding the building of case files.
- Updating force systems with target dates, action plans and other requirements set out by internal and external stakeholders.
You must have
- Experience using computerised system to interrogate and maintain data.
- Excellent communication skills including presenting ideas and information both written and verbally.
- Ability to check information for content and accuracy.
