We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivatedCasual Fitness Leaders to join our team across Fenton Manor Sports Complex andDimensions Leisure Centre — the principal sport, leisure and events venues in Stoke-on-Trent, welcoming over one million visitors each year. With approximately 5,000 active gymmembers, our fitness facilities are a key part of our service and one of the main incomestreams for Leisure. Our Fitness Leaders play a vital role in ensuring members receive a safe,supportive and high-quality experience every time they visit.
As a Fitness Leader:
- You will be responsible for supervising the gym floor and ensuring the safe and correct use of equipment.
- You will provide advice, guidance and support to members to help them achieve their fitnessgoals, while delivering excellent customer service in a friendly, approachable andprofessional manner at all times.
- You will also maintain high standards of cleanliness andpresentation within the gym environment, carry out inductions and basic fitness assessments where required, and follow all operational procedures including health and safety policies, risk assessments and emergency procedures.
- Applicants must hold a minimum Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- We are looking for individuals who are proactive, enthusiastic and committed to maintaining highstandards, with the flexibility to work across sites where required.
- Hours will vary depending on operational needs.
