
Catering Supervisor (Brookfield Primary School)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the award-winning Derbyshire Catering Service.
We are currently recruiting an experienced catering professional to lead the kitchen team at Brookfield Primary School, Burlington Avenue, Langwith Junction, NG20 9AD.
As Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking and service.
The role also involves carrying out required clerical and administrative duties using a digital catering management system. The health, safety and wellbeing of our customers is a key priority, and all staff are expected to work in full compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
We aim to create positive lunchtime experiences for our customers, so it is essential that you demonstrate a professional, caring and appropriate attitude within a school environment.
The successful candidate will ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality or have relevant equivalent experience. You will have a sound knowledge of health and safety requirements and hold, or be willing to obtain, a Level 2 Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
The starting salary within the grade is negotiable and will depend on your current salary, experience and qualifications.
