An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of our award-winning Derbyshire Catering Service. We are seeking an experienced catering professional to lead our kitchen team at Longmore Primary School.
As Catering Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, service, and administrative tasks using a digital management system. Ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene and health & safety is essential, as the wellbeing of our customers is our top priority.
We aim to create positive lunchtime experiences for pupils, so a friendly and professional attitude suited to a school environment is a must.
Qualifications & Experience
- Ideally hold NVQ Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality or equivalent experience.
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
- Possess Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2.
Starting salary within the grade is negotiable, depending on current salary, experience, and qualifications.

Salary range
- £25,185 - £25,583 per year
