CCTV Operator

Wakefield Council’s has a state-of-the-art CCTV headquarters based in Pontefract with a purpose built facility housing the very latest in CCTV technology.

We are looking for a full time professional and experienced CCTV Operator to strengthen our team by monitoring and responding to incidents captured on CCTV.

The successful applicant will be a team player who will make a major contribution to the reduction of crime and prevention of vandalism, and assist in the provision of feeling and being safer.

Applicants should possess good communication skills, and have reasonable level of literacy and numeracy, Previous experience of a CCTV / Enforcement role is desirable, and the ability to work with a variety of other public agencies.

A CCTV, SIA License would be an advantage, although not essential.

The post does include night work, shift work and weekend work.
