Would you like an opportunity to work in an exciting and challenging role within the Public Sector?

Lancaster City Council are currently recruiting for a Charges and Leasehold Officer for our Council Housing Department. You will provide essential administrative support to the department, dealing with customer queries and undertaking a range of administrative duties relating to Leasehold Service Charges, issuing invoices for re-chargeable repairs and various sundry debts.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 18.5 hours per week (Condensed hours to be determined). This role is permanent.

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment and for this reason, you will be expected to be flexible in line with the needs of the business, as the role may vary from day to day. A professional and confidential approach is always required, and strong communication skills are essential.

Essential Skills Required:

  • PC Literate, fully competent with Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft packages
  • Experience with Leasehold Service Charges.
  • Experience in working in an administrative role.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

This is a hybrid role but office attendance at Lancaster Town Hall will be required. Full equipment will be provided.
