About the role

As a Social Worker in our Children in Need Team, you'll work with children and families subject to:

- Child in Need plans

- Child Protection plans

- Public Law Outline (PLO) processes

- Care proceedings

You'll undertake assessments, build strong relationships with children and families, coordinate multi-agency support, and lead plans that help children remain safe, thrive, and achieve positive outcomes.

Using the Signs of Safety approach, you'll complete purposeful direct work, chair and attend professional meetings, make informed decisions, and ensure children's voices remain at the heart of everything you do.

To be successful in this role, you’ll:

- Have 2 – 3 years qualified experience for a Level 2 or Level 3 role

- Be a qualified Social Worker holding a CQSW, DipSW, Social Work Degree or equivalent recognised qualification

- Be registered with Social Work England

- Be Passionate about promoting positive outcomes for children and families

- Be skilled in assessment, planning and relationship-based practice

Working hours

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week.

Typical working hours are:

- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am to 5:00pm

- Friday: 8:30am to 4:30pm
